Three days in and I'm still moving forward

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Well I have never "blogged" in my life, but I sure love to talk (type) and I always seem to have something on my mind so here goes.
Today is day 3 for me of actually adhering to any program. I have decided not to be as hard on myself as I normally am. I realize that one small mistake, such as recording the wrong amount of a food accidentally is not the end of anything, even if it did make me go over my calorie range. I am a human being with real abilities to make mistakes and learn from them. Today, I learned to edit recipes that I post, so that when I am adding them from only my memory I can fix my mistakes. Yesterday I learned to make sure I'm entering the right amount of food/drink. See? Not the end, only the beginning of doing better.
Tomorrow is a new day, I may trip up but even if I fall, I will not stay down. Between God, my determination and SparkPeople, I got this thing! emoticon

Welcome to SP. It's a great site! Be sure and sign up for Spark America and when you set up your exercises, just remove any you can't do or don't want and put in those you do. Be sure and schedule a day for cardio so you have access to the "other exercises" page where the walking, housework, playing with children etc. are to be found. When you are done, set up your Appointment calendar to send you reminders and when they come, click on the link then fitness and just check them off as you do them. Such a great feature. Use your spark points page to help you use and learn all the fantastic tools we have at this site. Visit others pages and get to know them better. Again, welcome to a great site.
