Naps and the Munchies

Am I the only one where whenever I take a nap I get the munchies bad when I wake up its really not good while dieting luckily I went for the coffee instead of the junk food and man I want the puppy I dreamed I got MAN.

    Maybe your body is mixing it up with morning and the need for breakfast.

If you plan your meals and plan some snacks (like a cookie or half banana, or orange, etc.), why not plan your day to have that particular snack for after your nap? And your choosing a hot drink is good...hot drinks can really really help. I like a hot cup of sweet (splenda) tea...fills me up, takes care of my sweet tooth, and sometimes I have it with one of my 60-calorie oatmeal raising cookies for my snack.

Good luck with finding the right balance here!
