I know it's not just about weight loss but my scale shows a 7lb loss!!! I have never, never lost weight like that before. So I'm going to go buy a new scale before I believe that number is true. It does coincide nicely with my increase in exercise but I used to exercise much more intensely (the last time we were settled in one location for more than a few months) and I would be happy to lose 1 lb /week or just not gain.
If this is true, than there are only two other things that could have had a significant impact:
1) I have only had 1 glass of wine in the last nine days! I was kind of shocked myself when I realized it because it wasn't something I did intentionally; I just didn't want to have any alcohol until I had completed my steps for the day and I haven't been completing them until late at night.
2)Thyroid medicine - I don't know what to say about this but the doctor said I may see a change in my weight loss. I didn't really see anything significant over December but I was just really excited not to gain any weight. (Still thanking Fitbit for keeping me on track during that time!)
I'll get a new scale this evening, double check in the morning and see what happens!
