Hey! I got on the scale this morning since it's halfway toward the end of my next weigh-in. I'm working out and even pushed myself yesterday, so I got on the scale and I am up 2 lbs. What? What is up with that? Incomprehensible. Ugh!
This could be muscle weight developing so I could be retaining more water in the process. I sure hope so because I'm feeling great and I am eating extremely well. I'm avoiding a full dinner while increasing the use of weights. Okay, I won't fret much about this at this time since I have 3 more days to go before a log in weigh in. I'll continue increasing the water my 4-6 oz daily in order to reach my goal of 1.5 liters daily. By the spring, I should be drinking at least 2 liters so I am fully hydrated. Not craving soda either. I was concerned about that because once my stress level rises, I'm off for that Dr. Pepper. Day 1 back to school was a real test, however, I worked through that and avoided it. I have a protein shake as a backup and that surely takes away the craving.
In the meantime, it's full speed ahead. I'll get 2 mi of cardio this evening along with the open legged squats with 15 LB. kettlebell chest raises. I'll also get in a waist whittler and 200 lying leg lifts which is a burning ab cruncher.
