I have been off sugar for two weeks, and finally am making some progress. I have regained the ability to control my eating. When sugar is in the mix, it is just crazy. My body takes over. I have been watching the series called The Skinny on Obesity - suggested by an SPer and I have found that so enlightening. I watching an episode a day just to keep it in focus.
Last night I had a board meeting and for the first time ever I left the meeting without running to an ice cream shop or looking for some other sweet. I did have some pop corn, but it was within my calorie limit. The meeting was still not without stress, but my reaction was more appropriate.
