Progress after a long hiatus

Thursday, January 10, 2013

I have been off sugar for two weeks, and finally am making some progress. I have regained the ability to control my eating. When sugar is in the mix, it is just crazy. My body takes over. I have been watching the series called The Skinny on Obesity - suggested by an SPer and I have found that so enlightening. I watching an episode a day just to keep it in focus.

Last night I had a board meeting and for the first time ever I left the meeting without running to an ice cream shop or looking for some other sweet. I did have some pop corn, but it was within my calorie limit. The meeting was still not without stress, but my reaction was more appropriate.

It is very hard to cut the sugar cravings if you have a sweet tooth. You seemed to are making good progress and finding ways to handle the sugar intake in your diet.
    Good job!!!
Slow and steady will ensure your success rather than fast and rush into cutting sugar completely out.
