What Screws Us Up Most In Life

Thursday, January 10, 2013

You've made the choice to be healthier and you're acting on it instead of just talking about it. So why let some image in your head determine your success?

Picture yourself healthy instead of being at a specific weight.

Losing just 5-10% of your weight can make a huge impact on how you feel! It's the snowball effect. Feeling better will make you want to do and be more healthy.

Every time you faithfully record your nutritional and water intake, every time you resist the urge to overeat, every time you make yourself do physical activity when you don't want to, you're successful - even if the scale isn't moving and you're not losing inches.

Absolutely! And focusing on being healthy often means working on more than than just physical health.

It's soooooooo hard to let the photos from the past that stay in my head go away. I know how much better I looked and felt just a few years ago. But now is now and I need to stay positive for the progress I'm making now. emoticon
