DAY 10 of 2013 - Realistic Weight Loss Goal

I mentioned at work the other day, that I needed encouragement from those around me, if I was to succeed with my weightloss goals.
On the 16th will be the official start of BLC21, and I have been given the challenge of loosing 2kg per week., which is equivalent to 4.4 pounds. What I am asking is this a realistic goal, of should I set the bar lower.
Now I realize that I have a lot of excess weight to loose......+- 50 kg.
Apart from that, things seem to be going okay at work. Nothing major has happened since the Monday saga.
I am just going to put my head down, and concentrate of what is in front of me.
I am hoping and praying that there is a light at the end of my tunnel.........its just seems to loooooong.

    The challange isn't part of BLC21. Its a challenge one of my work colleagues has given me.

    Does having a challenging goal make you more motivated to work hard or more likely to get discouraged? Unless they've changed the rules in this round, it doesn't matter as much whether or not you hit your goal as it does how much weight you lose. Set your goal somewhere that will push you to work harder without making you lose hope.
