Surgery for Skin Cancer on Jan 22nd...Need Your Prayers!

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Well I went in to the Doctor yesterday...with butterflies in my tummy dreading to know the outcome...It was the best of the worst news I could get...It is a basal carcinoma which is the slowest growing skin cancer and rarely metastases so whew... emoticon that was a relief thank you Jesus!!! I go in for surgery Tues. at 2:00pm Jan. 22nd...I would love your prayers covering me...Richard will be there for me...Man Am I so glad I have a husband to take care of me!!!
Meanwhile I am changing things up as far as my health....Alkalining , eating mostly veggies and raw with some cooked, and applying essential oils to my spot on my back...
We left the doctors and I signed up for an Art Class...Creative Habits..so I am excited to have a new focus...Terraforming is next week...
Well after all that we drove to Tacoma for Richards family bible study...we are in the book of Romans...that is a tough book to figure out...I let everyone know what was up with me and they prayed and will continue to pray. I am a little worried about Richards insurance...not as good as mine was...They asked for a $20 co pay...until I gave them my new card...and that insurance wasn't in the system!??? This could be very expensive...Hope not...
We had snow this morning and we are suppose to get snow this week...I hope not because I want to go to the Healing Room to be prayed over and to pray for others...
Anyway that is my update...
I love you sparkies...
xoxo

    Thanks for the update.

With all you are doing, make sure the Doc STILL thinks you need the surgery, when the time comes. :-)

We are lucky to live in America where we have excellent doctors and health care. I read about women in the world who must wear garments before going out of the house so people can't see them, and these women seldom have access to health care.

You probably were out in the sun a lot when young, as my male friend was since he grew up on a farm. He has had several such skin cancers removed now that he is past 60. I'm sure all will go well.

Hey Nan Nan, you are in my thoughts. May your surgery go well and may you enjoy good health.

The art class sounds perfect for you. Right up your alley. I took an art class many moons ago and it made me so happy. I like what your friend suggested about having something on the calendar each day. I love the freedom of being home but am definitely happiest when my week has direction direction.

Take care.

Xo,
M
