Today is my 7th Day!!!!

I cannot believe a week has gone by since I started this journey. I have learned a lot in the past week about myself, and about what I can do. Such a difference from the filling of helplessness before I even began. I know I have a long way to go, but if I can continue to learn more about "how to" make sure I eat healthy and exercise, and ways to prepare food that my whole family can enjoy with me, I know I can do it. As I have moved around this site in different areas I have realized there is a wealth of information on it. I also have discovered even on the internet are more ideas for food preparation, cutting calories out of some of the food by changing some of the ingredients in a recipe, and even in just how it is prepared! My next area to find out more about is How to get to sleep and get more sleep at night!!!!

    I spent hours on here when I first started...then ended up not sleeping enough at night. lol. Now I try to get at least 5 hours of good sleep a night. I babysit my granddaughter who takes a nap every day. It is hard for me to stand up with her in my arms as she now weighs 20 pounds so I generally get a short nap with her. She won't go to sleep if I put her down in her playpen.
