I need to learn to put myself first- before all the other things I want and need and should do.
I need to do this or I won't have time for all the other things that I want and need and should do.
What does this entail? For me - right now- it means to exercise at least 10 minutes a day. I can say 10 minutes. Because 5 minutes isn't enough. I could do just 5 minutes and be done. But 10 minutes- well once you have done 10 minutes- you just FEEL like you NEED to do more.
And that is what I need to do. I need to do more for myself!
I reread this. That is not enough. 10 minutes is not enough.
I think what is more important for me is putting myself first.... first thing in the day. so... tomorrow I am going to get up and go. it is my day off and I have promised to meet my mom at Fitness USA. so I am going to go there- do some ST, walk on the treadmill machine and then do water aerobics with her.
I need to get her motivated to take care of herself too. I am doing this for selfish reasons. If she is more fit and can do more for herself- that leaves more time for me. HA. then it is a win-win situation for both of us. we get to spend time together and making ourselves better in the process!
