Leave me alone

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

i was asked for a favor to trade time on the wf desk from my sup. i don't want to agree to it, but figure if i don't it will bite me in the butt later. part of my reason for not wanting to a free to the switch is that i will not be able to switch back. that and the "problem" it will fix, will stil lbe an issue just at a later time of the day.

When i first saw the email, i wanted to say "leave me alone" especially when she kept instant messaging me during the day. i was trying to thing of a political, polite and confusing response. basically a response that doesn't say yes or no. so ill check her response tomorrow.

I just got stuck doing some one else's job as well as my own, mostly because they pitched a hissy fit and the boss just doesn't want to listen to her any more. Bites big time, but unless I want to quit my job...I'm stuck.

Unfortunately. some people just want what they want and they go about getting what they want in a pushy way. Well, if I read what you wrote correctly, its work related and asked by a high up for you to do it. I've found at jobs, you usually just have to say yes..unless you have a great excuse they will accept. Hope you are able to switch back ok. If not give yourself a big pat on the back for handling the annoying request so gracefully. :)
