Treadmill mile but still a mile. It seems like it has been forever and a day since I broke 10:00. Next week I begin my training for the half marathon I signed up for. I have til the end of April to get my act together and get a handle on proper nutrition and get my base for the distance.
I am feeling good about it all so far. Although I want to beat my time from last spring, I am going to focus on getting fit and strong; and I won't complain if I can fit into those skinny jeans again. Finishing strong is my real goal.
Now, if I can do a string of 9:41 minute miles I will be one happy runner.
