Doctor's Visit

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Monday driving to work I felt a pain in my chest. It seemed to be muscular then went away. I had a great workout and didn't think of it again, until Tuesday. Then it was really bothering me. Went to the doctor today. They took x-rays to make sure I didn't have a broken rib from coughing. Well I don't. What I have is a sinus infection which is probably making me cough. I also have muscle inflammation from coughing (she thought).
She sent me off with a Z-pack and told me to take advil/tylenol and put some ice on it. I hope this passes quickly. You know how I hate sitting idle.
Today I cancelled my training session. There was no way I was going to do that and did some light walking at home. I hope the antibiotic kicks in tomorrow and the pain goes away. emoticon

Way to go in deciding to hit the doctor's office. That was extremely smart. I am impressed. This could have gotten even worse and had to side lined for a longer period. Hand in there and take it easy so when you are back you can stay back. Easier said than done, I know. HUGS!
