So Sudden So Sad

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

I saw on facebook today the death of a dear friend. I was shaken beyond control, so much I broke down terribly in the office and I had to be consoled to stop. I could remember seeing him just 3 weeks ago. Adieu friend till we meet to part no more.

Death where is thy sting?
Grave where is thy victory?

emoticon Thinking of you and praying peace for your friend's family and loved ones, as well as for you. It is so hard to lose someone close to us suddenly and unexpectedly - - and this is one of the challenges of facebook and social media. It brings us news in a timely fashion, but often causes certain information to come our way which could be better shared in a way we it wouldn't be so upsetting.
    emoticon hang in there.
May your dear friend rest in peace.

Hopefully as time goes on, you will remember the good things about him and feel grateful to have had him in your life, even if for too short a time.
