Completely by accident

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Does anyone use a desk calendar/planner? I do and I am almost lost without it. The one I keep on my desk is mainly for what bills need to be paid when and then secondary the calendar of events. (It's my back up to my smart phone calendar of events)

Anyway, I finally managed to get to the book store and vacillated between two Mom planners. There were parts I liked about each one and I decided on the more expensive one (of $20 versus $15), for three reasons: more room to write, quotes and the pretty cover.

At the register I had a coupon and when the lady told me I owed sixty cents, I was beyond shocked! As it turned out my planner was on sale and with my $10 store coupon I only owed tax. I now like my planner even more, even though it was completely by accident that I got it for so cheap.

I have a Franklin planner that I've used for years, and I just buy a refill every year. I've tried several times to go to a digital planner but I just prefer my old fashioned book to write in.

I use to use a planner, but now I have a notebook that I use daily. I would be lost without it. I love it when I get a bargain that I didn't makes me think that the rest of the day is on my side. Good for you! emoticon
