So wow, it’s only been about a week since really rededicating myself to my journey
I feel like it’s been so much longer, not entirely sure why, but I do. I am doing great so far in just about every aspect, though I still need to figure out how to get my 5.5 miles in everyday. I’ve gotten once so far (oops) but I’m managing about 2 miles without going to the gym at all.
Things that have happened so far…
*I have decided that leg warmers about the most amazing thing EVAR, seriously they keep me warmer than bundling up with sweaters/hoodies. I want more of them in really bright colors! (I have my old black ones from back in my dance days)
*I LOVE my new yoga studio! I’ve gone to 2 classes so far and I feel amazing (sore, but amazing still) Everyone is kind and enthusiastic about fitness and health, which makes me want to go back more and more! Next class I’m going to is Saturday, can’t wait!
*I feel like I have a bit more direction for my career dreams, Sunstone has their teacher training academy in Addison and they have a weekend training option, so I can get my cert and still work my job (paycheck is important) and I have a timeline for it too!
*I am still working on not stepping on the scale most days, I’d like to weigh only on the 1st of the month to take focus off my weight and put it more on fitness and health, but I’ve peeked a few times already (I know, I know…) but both times showed loss, so yay for that! Little boost of encouragement to keep going.
*My eating has been almost effortless, which is weird. Normally I struggle like crazy to meet calorie intake/burn goals, but this week has been fantastic and that’s even with indulgent food last weekend.
**I’m also realizing its super easy to eat enough food AND stay in your calorie range, when you eat almost nothing but real whole foods (fruits, veg, grains, meat, etc.)
