Ugh! Ready for Spring!

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Well I'm already for Spring! Not because the weather has been harsh or too cold or too snowy, but because I feel like someone in my household has been sick for the last two months and it gets tiring! First my oldest was sick with bronchitis and a ruptured ear drum and ear infection. Next I got her cold and ended up having my first ever asthma exacerbation (I've had asthma, but never an attack before). Next my husband got a sinus infection and then my youngest got a cold and has been mostly under the weather for 3 weeks. It then morphed into a ear infection and sinus infection.

All this sickness started immediately after I had my knee surgery, so I feel like I haven't had hardly any full nights of sleep in a long while. Now this is probably an exaggeration, but that is how I feel today. Probably doesn't help that even though it is in the 40's out, it is gloomy and looks about ready to rain. On second thought, maybe I am ready for Summer, not Spring!

On the bright side, I did get my PT done, did eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and need to just finish the things I committed to for the January challenge. I'll probably feel more upbeat after I get those things done! Have a great Sparky day everyone!

Ditto. I am ready for this season to be over with!

On the bright side, you are doing well with your healthy eating. Keep it up!

I agree! Currently, everyone is healthy-ish, but every week or weekend since the beginning of November we've had colds, stomach viruses and ear infections galore. I was going crazy trying to keep things clean and hands washed and people were still getting sick. Hopefully everyone stays healthy for both of our families!!

You are not the only one. I think the colds and flus have been so much worse this year than most. And just when everyone is starting back to normal they get hit with something else. Just think happy (warm) thoughts. It will get better.
