When bad dreams cause you to do things..

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Not bad things though.. Good things! I dreamt this morning that the next 18 months fast forwarded themselves while I watched and all of a sudden it was 5pm on july 4th of 2014 and I had to find a wedding dress THAT NIGHT. I finally put one on and when i looked in the mirror as I was lowering the dress down I could see my flabby fat legs and my huge arms with that gross little ball of fat that seems to collect just above your elbow.. it was NOT a pretty picture and NOT how I wanna look in a wedding dress!.

Between THAT terrible dream and watching half of the first show of the Biggest Loser ( I didn't even know it was coming back on and am therefore playing catch up) I am not just gonna keep on eating properly but pushing hard, sweaty workouts into my schedule from now on. Now it isn't just good enough to lose weight but there is a sudden need to be toned as well.. i want muscles!

So spark video research in the agenda today. Plus browsing (and dusting off) through all my workout wii games and dvds and seeing what I can find online. Amazon has a deal on some zumba videos and I haven't given zumba a try yet and I've heard nothing but good things about it. I lost 6 lbs last week. Let's see if I can pull off at least half that this week!

Keep going! Dreams can be great motivators. I remember one where I dreamed that I binged. I woke up disgusted by how much I'd eaten, and then had this wonderful fresh start feeling when I realized that none of that food had actually found its way into my body. My eating was perfection for the rest of the week, because it felt like a second chance.

Keep us up to date on how the Zumba goes!
