I spent most of my night (and into the morning hours) putting together a Nutritional Library of all the foods I eat and their nutritional values. Now I know Sparkpeople has the feature in the foods we track, but I often find that when searching for a particular item, I canít find it. And I love the feature where I can record my own nutritional values for the foods I eat. This gave me the idea that perhaps I should have my own Nutritional Library, separate of Sparkpeople. Afterall, Iím not always online.
Having a secondary resource to turn to would not only keep me on track, but I might learn a thing or two with the foods I eat and their nutritional values.
I canít possibly expect Sparkpeople to enter all the different foods from around the world and since no two loaves of Rye bread are the same, Iím taking responsibility to document all the foods I eat.
Itís a big project to work on, but itís going to be worth the effort!
