In about an hour I will know how I did on my first week of WW. I'm a bit nervous as I decided to basically
I didn't and don't want to let the squarish box with the telling #'s rule my life. I know I need to add in how my clothes fit, measurements and how I feel. That box does NOT have to play such a huge role in my life.
I've decided that I want to have more of the Simply Filling foods instead of counting up points. I feel I've done pretty well when I'm off, but not as well on work days. I am still trying to figure that one out! I think it's because I'm at work for 10.5 hours. I just am starving on my way home. But cutting up peppers and onions Sunday night helped. It's a big time saver and I can also throw them in the freezer and pull them out as I need them for different meals. I'm so excited about this change in making meals. I made omelets with fresh veggies Sunday night and my daughter and hubby were both on board. I made a goal that every week I will make at least 1 new healthy recipe. This week it will be Crock Pot Beer Chicken. I'm excited to try this new venture. The last 2-3 months of the year, I had gotten out of the kitchen. I wasn't necessarily eating junk food or eating out, I just wasn't buying the healthiest of groceries at the store. But now creating new recipes is something I'm looking enjoying and looking forward to continuing! It kind of started with Christmas eve dinner and continued ever since.
I am doing the PUSH challenge, thanks to my Sparkgirl FLGIRL_4EVER. It's really keeping me focused on what I want to do-not just with my weight loss journey, but with my entire life. In my list of 10 goals, my goal is to lose 100 lbs this year. It's a big goal. But I know that when I apply myself, I can do anything! And I'm looking forward to KILLING this goal. Slam dunk it
