Today I will focus on positive thoughts, positive things, and positive actions. I just read a blog about gratitude, and it really moved me. Finding the good in things instead of always looking at the negative can really make or break our day. It's a way of thinking, and a way of life. How many times do we get up in the morning, and have something happen that puts us in a bad mood, and that mood follows us for the rest of the day? What would happen if instead of allowing that "thing" to put us in a bad mood we turned it around and made it into a positive thing? I think for today I'll try to put a positive spin on everything, instead of a negative spin and see where it takes me.
Goals for today:
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ journal every bite
~ smile at least once an hour
~ massage after work
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
Tomorrow is weigh in day, so today will be a little more difficult for me. (For some reason the day before WI I'm starving all day, even though I eat the same basic things I do every other day of the week!) BUT I am grateful that I am healthy, I am happy, and I am able to move, think, and able to make choices today that will continue to promote my healthy lifestyle.
