This is how I'm starting my day today...

Well...its 4am and I've been awake for nearly an hour so far. I had a bad dream which woke me up, which meant I had to use the bathroom, which meant a light on, which meant fully awake. So..I decided if I'm awake I'll get in my Bible reading time before hubby wakes up at 530 and my spark activities for the day out of the way, get my daily list together, etc. so I'm ready to jump in when the kids wake up at 715.

I walk into the living room and I hear a noise that I shouldn't be hearing...and I see a power cord plugged into the wall and going around the side of my sofa...where I find my 4 yr old huddled down with a Nintendo DS playing games...*sigh* I go to put him back to bed, except that when I turn on his light I see that his room is destroyed (again--i spent 3 hours cleaning it yesterday) and the matress is off the bed. I don't want to wake the rest of the house so I have him curled up on the love seat hopefully going back to sleep. This means he will wake up again when hubby's alarm goes off and my morning time to myself is more than likely gone.

I guess its a good thing I woke up at 3. I'll be ready for a nap by the time we stop schoolwork for lunch. Definitely going to need my spark energy drink today.

Today is day one for me of doing my Advocare 24 day challenge. I started it once back in November but ended up having to have my wisdom tooth out in the middle and I got sick so I didn't get to complete it properly so we're trying again. This time with an exercise regiment and a more structured diet plan for the first 10 days. I have to say that I absolutely love my advocare products, and my doctor gave me the green light to use them. My favorite is the Spark energy drink. I hate red bull, Monster, and all those other products. They're nothing but liquid sugar and caffeine and they taste awful. Spark tastes good, and I don't feel jittery and shaky all day, it doesn't load me up with caffeine to crash later, and I feel good all day long. My main problem is consistency. I've used Advocare off and on for years but one reason or another always causes me to stop (usually finances), so over the summer and fall I stocked up on product and I have a pretty good supply on hand for what I regularly take. Now if I can just make myself remember to take them when I'm supposed to! Today will be a Spark, the day one packet of Herbal Cleanse fiber drink, Clear Mood, and OmegaPlex. I'm setting a calendar alert on my cell phone to remind me to take items when it is time. I hope that helps!

    Thanks :) I usually get up at 530 and I go to bed early but last night I had a Ladies Aux meeting at the VFW so I got home just before 9 and didn't get to bed until 1030. I am usually in bed around 930. I function better in the morning than at night so that is when I like to have my quiet time and such when its quiet and no children or anyone needing attention.

    I get up early and pray. Along with the exercise at the end of the day, my sleep has improved greatly.

    I am sorry you are not sleeping better and that your hard work yesterday was destroyed. I do hope your time in the Bible goes well and that your plan to start the Advocare goes well this time. It sounds like you have a good plan in place for success. emoticon
