I awoke at 3 this morning & can not get back to sleep so I figured there is nothing better to do than to get my Spark on! I really tried to take it easy yesterday but I ended up getting all the laundry done, house straightened, floor washed, etc. I even cleared out my coupon book & cut out the new coupons & put them in. It was a day to get organized. I hadn't even checked the mail since Christmas. Geez, where have I been?-lol! Randy went back to school last night, so I even had some free, quiet time. Sat & watched Criminal Minds on ION & crocheted. I know I said I was not going to exercise for a week but for me that is now impossible. It looks like the weather will be nice enough for a walk outside today, which is just what I need as my hips are crying out for movement (that is what woke me up). But I am not going to push myself too much. I will stop when I feel it is time. All in all, I had a good day yesterday!

    take good care of yourself. I know how it feels to want to be active. With my new found health. I tend to do the same as you. But it is important to take it easy sometimes and not feel guilty.

    I can look at this quote from a mental view, an emotional view, a spiritual view and from a physical view. Good one. Mentally I always need to strive to keep learning and that I do each day on Spark. Emotionally, I need to move past my negative emotions into a more optimistic frame of mind. Spiritually, I need to keep growing closer to God each day through prayer and meditation. And physically, I need to work my body each day. I want to work on my balance. It's poor. I want a stability ball to sit on at my computer mainly since I spend so much time here. I'd also like it to do my ST on. I think I'm gonna sign up for the Walk/Jog 5K training program next week. I need to work on my physical health and walking just isn't do it for me anymore. emoticon

    Glad you are on the mend and a walk outside even if it's short just might help perk you up a bit too! I often wonder if we get the flu more during the colder months because we don't get the fresh air like we're used to. Gotta watch the SAD (seasonal affective disorder) as you normally spend so much time outside during the better months that it's bound to bother you a bit too. I try to get out everyday doing yard work and walking back and forth even if it's just a bit it helps. Take Care!

    I saw ABC world news and it said flue viruses are every where. You seems to get catch cold easily. So if you are going to outside, please, be careful.

    Glad you're feeling better. Sounds like you had a really productive day yesterday. I walked 8/10th of a mile on Monday and was recuperating most of the day on Tues. LOL but I did get in my strength training and some dishes done yesterday. Love your positives !! emoticon
