So I've been getting off from work late this week. Today we had half of our tiny team out, so it was pretty hectic.
I finally got a hold of the event pictures from my event on Sunday. I have a smattering of them on my phone (my only camera for the event), a handful from a SparkFriend BEFITWITHGUSTO, and a couple from the local newspaper's coverage (which sadly aren't any of me-haha). In short, all the pictures that I need for a recap blog, I HAVE!! Yay!! But, I haven't had the time to get them all together on this laptop (which has been freezing up lately, by the way. :| Eek.)
More importantly, I'm finally at week 9 of our 10K training running program, and at the point where if I miss any more planned runs, I risk serious injury from pushing forward without the training. I can't hop and skip around, I need to really be consistent to help build my body and avoid injury. In looking at what my current post-strep throat routine is, I barely see how to fit it in.
Also, I'm going back to the doctor in the morning to figure out why my ear is still in pain and clogged even though I finished the strep throat anti-biotics on Monday morning.
I'm afraid to push myself too hard. I want to be healthier, not injured.
If I have to end up picking up training from a week that is appropriate for me, I'll just have to do that. But I can't let the excuses and poor reasoning build up. Those will hold me back frmo the next level -- from where I need and want to be!
