So I started my
training on a Wednesday not realizing that on sunday Sparks would want me to start week 2. LOL That's ok though this morning I managed to get in my last walk4/jog1 for week 1, and this afternoon I grabbed my cousin and I started my day 1 week 2 walk3/jog1.5. The stats are below.
Where:At work around Kroger
Miles: 1.64 Time: 30.27 AVG Min/Mile: 18.35
Physical Feelings: heavy breathing, but I still pushed my self past the hurdle and pushed to run a little longer than 1 minute a couple of times
Where:YMCA outdoor trail
Weather: 50's much warmer than my other ventures
Miles: 2.26 Time: 38.31 AVG Min/Mile :17.01
Physical Feelings: WOW....Way out of breath, but not only did I push to keep running a little longer, I also did some sprints, and I did an extra round making it 7 rounds not 6. Full of energy and way happy and proud that I pushed through.
I really feel like I am well on my way to being a full fledge runner or heck I would be happy to maintain a jog with out keeling over. LOL It is taking a little willpower, but I for once genuinely want to do this. Running for me is much more than losing weight. The weight will come off on it's own, so my focus has and will remain on getting further and faster gradually. So Far So Good.
