I did pretty well with calorie counting during the holidays, but then we had company for the week following New Year's. Also, my two kids and I have been under the weather. My last excuse is that the weather here didn't get above zero for about a week.
Now, it's time to stop the excuses.
It's time to get back on track.
I have a list of 15 healthy habits that I'm working on. They include simple things like getting my vitamin and reading something motivational. They also include tougher things like drinking all my water and getting all my fruits and vegetables for the day.
I'm giving myself a point for each one. When I get to 500 points, I have a small reward planned.
This past week with the company and the sickness, I haven't earned many points. But I want that reward and I'm back on track.
