Positive Proof !!!

Tuesday, January 08, 2013

On my PROGRESS !!! It might be slow, one step at a time, spread out over the day, with fierce determination I press on.

According to my FitBit back in December I was 86.1% Sedentary due to health issues, multiple sclerosis flaring. In the whole week I only got in 38,538 steps, which is not do to lack of trying but I was sick and in the begining of a detoxing cleanse.

Gradually week by week my stats improved !!! It wasn't overnight, but as my legs grew stronger I improved.

This week I completed 87,686 steps, 37.51 miles, burned 18,967 calories and am 74.1% sedentary.

Gee that sounds like too much sitting, but in November I was in a Wheelchair. My legs are atrophied, so it is taking time to improve. Each week my stats show a continual improvement in my steps.

Thank you Dr. for treating me with an Anti-aging protocol of detoxing and nutrients to help my body work on healing.

Whether or not the FitBit is correct about the sedentary thing, I think you have done wonderfully! You have made a huge jump in the amount of steps taken and it seems that you're getting stronger and more able-bodied! Good for you!!

All I know that is what the fitbit stats report it as.

87,686 steps in a week is 12,526 steps per day. That doesn't sound 74.1% sedentary to me, even if they're mostly pretty easy steps. I forget whether the definition of sedentary I saw was under 5,000 steps per day or around 2,000 steps per day, but I'm pretty sure that over 10,000 steps per day isn't considered sedentary.
