Wow New Jeans!

Tuesday, January 08, 2013

I got a gift card for Christmas and went to use it today. I needed a lift in the worst way after a rather rocky day yesterday (WHEN I STILL JOURNALED EVERYTHING I ATE) and it was ugly. The cool thing is that I know one day does nothing (especially when it is only one meal in one day). Even having that experience, I still felt a little down this morning. Then it was raining and that messed up my walking plans. But you know what? My knees really needed a day of rest that fitbit has been pushing me really hard, and I can't tell you when I have had a day with less than 10,000 steps in it. More than two weeks ago. Well I got one today, and I also got some new jeans, AND some new tops. I am in a size I don't recall being in for years. There is a picture on my page of me in this size clothing, I am holding baby Katie who is now 9 years old. I LOVE this size. And my new stuff is just beautiful.

Good for you! I've got two piles of jeans in my closet. One is my "regular" size, which doesn't fit, and the other is my "fat" jeans, which don't fit either. Looking forward to the day when my efforts have paid off and those "regular" size jeans fit again...thanks for the motivation!
