Dunkin Pumpkin Coffee

Tuesday, January 08, 2013

I stopped at Dunkin Donuts today and I got an X-Large Pumpkin Coffee with Cream. A treat for myself for the drive to work. As I'm sipping coffee I remembered I left my lunch, a healthy salad, at home. So, since I didn't have a lunch, I used my time to get Dunkin on-line and look up the calories in the coffee to record them on my tracker.

HOLY CRAP!!! 410 calories - I felt sick!! I'm glad I left my lunch at home!!

NEVER AGAIN! emoticon

Those drinks can sock it to you. I love the Chia Tea lattes and do it with skim millk. It is a treat that I do only once in awhile.

Order a small next time and ask for skim milk. Better yet, buy your own bag of Dunkin Pumpkin spice coffee and DIY. I add sugar-free French vanilla creamer and a generous sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice.

I believe the calories must come from the Pumpkin Flavoring. Sugar Syrup with a little pumpkin flavor

I learned a good lesson!! emoticon

Is that for the cream. I can not beleive that is for the coffee alone! Reg coffee is only 2 calories! I have DD coffee seldomly, usually w / 2%.

But Now that you know - you will not do that again, maybe a small next time.

I have to share a wise saying from an older coworker - he always said "if it tastes good, spit it out! It's not good for you!" LOL emoticon
