Afraid to Start Exercising...

Wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experience with picking up exercise while eating right. I am really on track with my eating, but afraid if I start incorporating exercise ( I would plan on strength training four times a week and aerobics three) that I will get too hungry and start binging. I am doing so good right now and don't want to mess up my streak. Any suggestions? Advice? Please help, and thanks in advance. emoticon

    Quick disclaimer that I'm not a nutritionist or qualified to give real advice, but here's what I do...

    I like to work out in the mornings. I usually don't eat before I work out, and right after I have protein powder. It's 120 cals and 24 grams protein (I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Cheapest price is at vitamin shoppe). The key for me is to have this right after I workout...if I wait too long I get super hungry for the rest of the day.

    If I'm hungry when I wake up, I'll have protein powder before working out or maybe an apple.

    I bet SP has a lot of great resources on nutrition and working out.
