Boy, I had no idea that a detox program could feel so good! I am almost done with my second week and I feel wonderful every day. I have also lost a total of eight pounds which makes me feel even better. After years of not being able to lose weight, I am FINALLY able to make the scale go down. This has been a frustration because despite the exercise and eating "right" my weight stayed around the same. I have been working towards losing weight intentionally now for over a year and it is finally paying off.
The detox regimen seems to have kick-started my metabolism. I am also doing strength training 2-3 times a week and a cardio every day. Snowshoeing is one of the best exercises I have found because it expends so much effort and calories. If for no other reason, I am encouraged to work even harder so the program is worth it! I am frozen no more.
