As I prepare to head to work, I figure I'll take a few minutes to talk about how I'm doing. Yes, it's only the second day, but I'm still going strong.
My gym experience today was (in my opinion) not as good as yesterdays. I walked more than I would have liked on the treadmill- I kept getting the worst pain in my side. Perhaps I didn't let my food digest long enough. Also, my legs were killing me today. My focus was arms today. I did most of the arm-type machines and then did a couple of core moves (just crunches and reverse crunches). Tomorrow will be another leg-focused day with Thursday being a rest day.
My diet was rough yesterday. I made conscious decisions when it came to eating but the hunger pains kicked in even though I was drinking an exuberant amount of water. I know the first few days, if not the first few weeks, are rough when it comes to dieting. All I seem to think about is food, especially unhealthy food. Drinking protein shakes for lunch is also going to take some getting used to.
In other news, I stepped on the scale today (at roughly the same time as yesterday) and noticed I was almost 4 lbs lighter. Is that even possible? Crazy! But I'll take it!
