OK, there are still left-over Christmas cookies in the house. I can see that if I go an entire week without reporting, I could get pretty far off track. So, here's the truth from yesterday. I'm coming clean.
Monday, January 7, 2013

1 - 30 minutes on the elliptical/stair stepper combo machine followed by 5 minutes of stretching.

2 - 2,173 calories. I indulged in the leftover Christmas cookies last night - and again this morning for breakfast. I brought them to work so they are gone now, but today's calories probably won't be any prettier than yesterday's.

3 - I was IN bed for 5.5 hours. My cell phone, which is my alarm clock, decided to be nothing but a blank screen last evening. So my sleep was somewhat restless worrying that the alarm wouldn't go off this morning. It did go off, fortunately, and the phone is now fixed thanks to remote trouble shooting from Verizon.

4 - Got my fruit and 4 veggies in.

5 - Got my 8+ glasses of water in.
I'm signing up for the indoor tri as soon as I finish this blog. No more procrastinating and excuse making. Even though I don't think I'm ready for a tri (I was sick over the holidays and really didn't work out much), I'm never going to get ready by procrastinating.
January 2013 accountability goals --

1 - Exercise at least 30 minutes/day 6 days/week. Per the book, "Younger Next Year for Women," I am going to shoot for 6 days a week of exercise - 2 days of strength training (I'm taking a strength training class) and 4 days of aerobic exercise, mostly treadmill, elliptical, or online videos at this time of year.

2 - Track my food and limit my calories to less than 1750 per day. Goal weight is 145 pounds by end of 2013. I started 2013 at 153.8.

3 - Sleep 6+ hours per night. Stop Sparking by 10pm. The number of hours that I sleep is directly related to how late I am Sparking/Facebooking.

4 - Eat 1 fruit and 4 veggies per day.

5 - Drink 8+ glasses of water daily.
