1/8/13 More on resolutions

Tuesday, January 08, 2013

When I taught school we always had discussion on new year's resolutions - many of my students said they didnt make them because they always broke them anyway. They had the all or nothing mentality. I would try to get them to break the goal into steps and see if they could a few steps.

Resolutions are goals - and they take time.

So how are my resolutions going?

well I wrote and destroyed the letter to my sil - I do feel better and am working on moving on.
I have been exercising with each day and feel better. I am working on my lines for the play and not worrying about the lines on my face so much. I have not bought the books for my kids yet but will do that soon.

Something happened that put a lot of things in perspective for me - my friend's grandson committed suicide. After sitting with the family yesterday, I know that I am blessed, that I have to work on my appreciation of life.

I can reach my goals, I will life a happy life.
