Weight Gain and Weight Loss

This morning the scale finally moved for me - down 2 pounds! I knew it would happen because of how positive I was feeling about myself and everything I've been doing. It's a great feeling! As I thought about my loss I couldn't help but think about all I'd done to earn those 2 pound gone: exercise, eat right, get rest, track my food, drink lots of water, and stay focused! It took a lot of hard work to lose those 2 pounds too bad it wasn't as easy as the weight gain. I've watched myself basically gain 20 pounds in about 10 months. 5 pounds just in December. How quick the weight goes on when you aren't paying attention but then when you want to lose it, boy do you have to work for it. But I'm okay with that working for it because I know in the end the rewards and successes will be worth it. I worked hard to lose those 2 pounds, I earned that loss and I will forever be proud of that because I earned it, I did it, and I can keep loosing if I stay focused and work hard.
