Tummy Talk

Tuesday, January 08, 2013

This morning I saw online an episode of Dr. Oz for those who are thinking of giving up they're resolutions so quick. He was explaining the difference between true hunger and the mixed messages our bodies sends from food addictions.

So if my tummy wants to growl I know that it is all bark and no bite! So you want to talk back to me go ahead just like my kids when you get mouthy I am going to ignore you. When you are truly hungry then I will feed you. Is this a communication problem? I didn't think so.

We shall see how mind over matter works.

I learn to live with hunger when I know it's not the right time for me to eat.

That's a great way to deal with the tummy talk. Never thought of it that way. Wishing I had more time to watch Dr. Oz.
