NSV, or Non-Scale Victories! So the numbers on the scale still haven't changed, in fact, sometimes they go up a bit and then go down! I'm tracking everything and I do mean everything I eat. I'm faithfully recording at least 8-8 ounce glasses of water per day. And, the tape measure reflects a decrease of a quarter inch from my waist, hips, thigh, and upper arm which I dutifully recorded for a total of one inch lost! Hurray! Non-Scale Victories continue! And although I continue to peek @ the scale probably far too much (you know how it is), I'm continuing on my way instead of choosing to get in my own way.

so true and everyones weight goes up and down every day every hour....
I know I weighted my self every hour a few days and it was strange how it can go up some times even as much as 5 pounds....my doctor told me i could loose a few pounds by just stop drinking so much water.....I drink over a gallon a day....

we are more than a number on the scale....

I know the love/hate relationship with the scale. Right now my weight is up but I'm going to the gym faithfully and trying to watch what I eat, so I can't let the scale mess with my head. I know I'm doing more for myself so that's a NSV in itself.
