Well, today didn't go so great. I've had a rough day. My seizure meds were upped lately because I'm entering the third trimester. This has led to an increase in the side effects. The only way I know to mitigate those is an increase in the soy, which, in this case, meant more Starbucks. We all know Starbucks is high in calories, so that killed a good chunk of my calories for the day. And then, between the meds effects and the pregnancy, I forgot to pack enough food for after my doctor's appointment, which then led to me & my husband eating at McDonald's cause it was close and cheap and avoided my getting sick.

So needless to say, it was an over 2,100 calorie day. I'm not happy about that. I'm happy that I managed to migate the side effects of my meds, and that I didn't get sick, but I didn't do so well with the calorie choices.

On the other hand, I did walk over 2 miles today! Slowly, a little at a time. But I did it. So that's good. And I've done my yoga.

So it was a mixed day. Some good, some not so good. Tomorrow will be better :)

    I love edamame & you can find it in the freezer section of your grocery store. Just heat them up a bit & shell them out of the pods. Delish!!! They are a great snack! You can eat them plain (which I do a lot), or sprinkle them on salads.
