I'm Back

Hi there...it's been awhile. Since I've been gone I've made some very positive changes in my life but losing weight has not been one of them. I did so well and was under 200 pounds, and then I went back to college full time, while still working part time, starting a new business and taking care of my family. I am now afraid to step on the scale. The last time I did I was at 214! To top it off, I have developed a binge eating habit at night. I need your support. I do not have any support at home when it comes to my eating and exercising habits. I don't really have any friends here to talk to either. My former social group consisted of partyers. I quit drinking and smoking some time ago and since I started school, I don't have time to hang out with people. I decided to give SparkPeople a try once more. I need some advice as to how to fit weight loss into my crazy schedule and ways to prevent my binging. I need a friend. Anyone out there feel the same? I just weighed myself..worse than I thought! 223 lbs!

    Baby steps. try for a 10 minute workout which sparkpeople has quite a few of and even some little workouts you can do while even at your desk. Drink so much water you feel like if someone touched your arm they'd squeeze out water to try to help with binges and brush your teeth.. for me if I brush my teeth I really don't wanna eat anything cuz it'll taste pretty gross. Just go for one day at a time. there will be amazing days and there will be really sucky days but all you can do is learn from it and move on and never beat yourself up for making a bad choice, emoticon
