Changed Habits

Monday, January 07, 2013

As I watch the people in front of me check out at the grocery store, I realize that even if I never lose another pound, at least I don't eat the abysmal crap they eat!!!

Seriously, this couple's basket was FULL of processed crap. Lots of frozen dinners and other "easy" food. Not a single thing fresh, not even milk!! I'm not meaning to be judgmental... Well, yeah, I am a little... But I'm more focused on the fact that I used to be just like that. I hit the center aisles of the grocery store, looking for the most convenient foods, and it sure is easy to find. But it's ALL crap!

I'm so glad I don't eat like that anymore. I stick mostly to the outside of store, keeping as much processed stuff out and as much fresh stuff in as possible. The change in just the way I feel when I eat better foods is worth it, let alone dropping weight whenever I'm eating less and moving more.

Remember:

Hope everyone is making healthy choices!

That's for sure! I do have a fair amount of the CRAP but only because I haven't trained the other two out of eating it. At least hubby is usually off the soda.

You aren't alone in looking at other's carts. I want to take their hands and put the junk back and help them pick healthy items. I am by no means perfect but even 1 bag of carrots or apples could go a long way to helping the problem we have in this country.
