So Far So Good!

Today is the day I started my clean eating committment. Our Eating Clean team has some great ideas for meals which I took advantage of. For breakfast I had a feta and spinach scramble. OMG!! It was awesome!! I had baby carrots and snap peas for a mid morning snack. For lunch I made the chicken wrap which is also in the Eating Clean team's recipe book. Super!! When I got home I made quinoa. While it was cooking I had a banana and an apple. For an evening snack I had a cup of black tea and a piece of biscotti (could have been a better choice as it wasn't an eating clean item).
I experienced a headache late afternoon. I believe it was because my body is detoxing from sugar.
There is something to be said about getting enough protein in your diet. I usually don't eat enough and today I had more than I am used to. I didn't experience the hunger/cravings I usually do at work.
So far so good!!
