Not a resolution, exactly, but I am going to try and blog and journal more in 2013. The thing is, I don't always have something to say. I guess if I type long enough, something'll come out. emoticon

I started to type "Today was frustrating," and it was, but that was just work. And although I was at work for too long today ... more than 10 hours ... I don't want it to rule my day.

So instead I will say, Today I stayed within my calories and I got in a little exercise. I did not eat any baked goods.

As for my job, I just have a ton of projects with tight deadlines and a lot of work for me to do. I have long work days in my future and am hoping to find the balance to do my job well and to take care of myself as well.

Typically I'm OK on the eating end of things, but it is the exercise component that gets left behind. Tonight for example, I did a quick Coach Nicole dumbbell workout but that's it because I got home late. emoticon

    Great start. I keep saying I'm going to blog more. Like you, it just doesn't seem that interesting at times. But this was a good one. Keep it up.

    I don't know if this would help you, but with the long work days, could you perhaps switch your workout time to in the morning? I am not a morning person by any stretch, but I know that often if I work late or have a stressful day at work, exercise is the last thing on my mind when I'm mentally exhausted.

Great job on finding time for a workout...every little bit helps keep you motivated!

    I can think of all sorts of things to blog about, but my mind go blank as soon as I sit down at the computer!

I think that if at the end of each day you can say you found balance, you've had a good day! Even if you didn't exercise as much as you might like you've done something and that's fantastic.

    I know how you feel. I can eat healthy but I know I dont get enough exercise. Need to try to fit more in, Hang in there. I know we can do this/
