After a couple of days of really watching my calorie intake I am finding my sugar cravings are going down. I've been trying to eat mostly protein and vegetables, although I have been having Glucerna shakes in the morning. Any carbs I am eating are slow Low GI carbs which has also been helping. I have been trying to think of this journey as easy, instead of hard. Every other time I have tried a lifestyle change all I do is think of how hard it is. I am just going to keep thinking "It's easy, all I need to do is eat between 1400-1700 calories a day and exercise 30 minutes a day".
Ok, I am fully aware it is not that easy. If it was that easy, no one would have a weight issue. BUT if I can convince myself it's easy, maybe healthy choices will start to come natural to me.
Someone remind me of this when I write a bitchy blog in the next few days about how I am dying :-)
