I don't sleep well unless I am in my own bed with the dog curled up on my stomach or at my feet, so the trip to Ithaca knocked me out of my rhythm. It usually takes me a couple of days to get back into my routine, but I KILLED my workouts today, so I will probably fall asleep early and sleep soundly. 400 fitness minutes today. Taking the weekend to rest had me ready to go today. What those 400 minutes consisted of was 10.8 miles walking (9.3 with Cooper), 130 jumping jacks, 45 leg lifts and bridges, the challenge video of the day x2, and a workout at the gym... where I ran 3.1 miles (Day 2 of the 5k running training program), did most of my new ST workout with various weight dumbbells and a variety of machines. Whew! Now I need to rest. So, I will almost definitely sleep well tonight! Tomorrow I am going to take it much easier. I am not aiming for a rest day, but definitely a low key day as far as fitness goes.
I have been just under my calorie range for the past two days, so maybe that will make up for the overeating on Saturday. I need to be more consistent about eating a high protein snack after one of my intense workouts. Sometimes I completely forget about a snack by the time I have walked home from the gym. I did that (forgot) today. Oops.
