ACK! I did a great job with riding and hiking last week only to have injured my ankle and foot BADLY. I seem to have torn some tendons or something. Tarsal Tunnel Syndrom or tendonitis or plantar facitiis or something miserable- Oh so painful. My bike shoes weren't adjusted properly and were causing numbness in my feet but I ignored. I pushed TOO hard last week too. Now I am afraid I can't even walk :( This is a major disappointment- I need walking and exercise more than ever right now...... There's so much going on right now... And I keep gaining weight and eating badly.
Bad cycle. BAD.. And I don't mean my bike! LOL
MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T overdue it!! Condition your muscles and ease into excercising when you've been on a break. And always adjust your bike shoes APPROPRIATELY! Cheap is not always better
