Wow! I haven't posted a blog since Sept. 2009. Where have I been?? Oh yea, preggo & far too busy/not so motivated with a 9 month old. But, it dawned on me that her first birthday is about 3 months away & I am nowhere near my pre-baby weight. That hit me like a brick wall. I am back and trying to get my butt in gear. I have been doing crossfit, but can commit to it for long periods of time whether it is because we're too busy to make it to the gym or we're sick... it's always something. Today, we couldn't make it to the gym because the baby is sick & we can't very well put her in the daycare sick, so I took her for a walk around the development (a little less that 1.5 miles in under 25 minutes). I used to walk all of the time with my coworker (6-8 miles every day)... I miss it. Or I just miss having somebody to chat it up with for 2 or so hours every day. Talk about stress relief. And I was never in such good shape in my life as I was when I walked every day. I know I don't have that kind of time in my day anymore, but boy it would be nice.

    I don't know what I would do without my walking. It helps me with my stress and just starts out my day on a good note. I love to see the stars at night and this morning I saw a fox. My dog loves it too!
