Today is the first Monday of 2013. Anyone who reads my blog knows how I feel about Mondays. But if you're new here, just let me say...MONDAYS SUCKTH!
At least this week is broken up. I have Wed off to go with hubby to get his Military retirement started. And get new Military I.D.'s. We go from pink ones to black ones. Then we're going to check out getting our Rx filled on base. It should be free. Then I'm back to work for Thursday and Friday. I'm thinking of taking hubby out to dinner on Thursday. It's his Birthday and he's going to be 60! But he's a young at heart 60. And I love him!
I did so well over the weekend! I was within my calorie range both Sat and Sun. I didn't workout but on Sat did a lot walking while doing our grocery shopping and rearranging the pantry. Then Sun got a lot in just doing laundry and cleaning the house. Vacuuming, mopping, cleaning out both fridges, and all the freezers. We have a apt size freezer out in the garage that can get...chaotic..to say the least. And when I get to the point I can't find something in it, I know it's time to clean it out! So I got all that done.
I had trouble sleeping again last night. I was tried but just couldn't fall asleep. I ended up taking some ZZZ NyQuil (in the pill form). It took a while but I was able to get to sleep about 2 AM. I was back up at 5 to get hubby off to work, then back to bed for an hour at 5:30. So I'm pretty tried right now. Not like when I was up all night a few weeks ago though. THAT was no fun!
Eating today is OK so far. I found these cute , individual serving cups of sliced strawberries. I brought one to work and ate it with my salad and Greek yogurt at lunch. For breakfast I had a Jimmy Dean Delights Canadian Bacon Honey Wheat Muffin. I figured it was more cost effective to bring my own breakfast. Snacks were two smallish bananas and Skinny Cow Divine Caramel Filled Chocolates. One package is 130 calories and they give 3 pieces. It's enough to handle any chocolate cravings I get. Dinner tonight is going to be Kahlua Pig and Cabbage. And maybe some ice cream (Skinny Cow), if I don't go over my calories for today.
