I'm feeling somewhat better these days...I feel like I have purpose again. I've been taking steps every day to exercise, to carve out time for at least 10 minutes (but usually 30) to get some meaningful activity. It feels great! I need to keep up this and make it a true lifestyle change.
I know inside me is the runner and athlete that I used to be. I'll find her again.
I've also been making all the right choices with my food. It's been pretty difficult, but I've managed to avoid falling into the "comfort eating" pitfall. My food choices have been very, very good thus far, and I'm making a concerted effort to make eating purposeful instead of random and emotion-based. I'll get there. I know I will.
