Too Soon to Celebrate?

I was down 0.8lbs this morning and I about cried with happiness! emoticon
Yes, I know weight fluctuates up to 5lbs in either direction. And yes, I know that it’s too soon to expect to see results. (And yes, I know I shouldn’t be weighing myself daily.) But I cannot tell you what a motivation it is to see the scale even SLIGHTLY lower at this point!
Additionally, I am feeling leaps and bounds better health-wise. Sure, my legs hurt from walking, emoticon but I haven’t given up yet! And my body feels a little more hungry from all the veggies emoticon (as opposed to the fries) but it’s a good hungry and I feel “cleaner” and less weighed-down inside and out. It’s a wonderful feeling and makes me excited to keep going!
I hope I can maintain this enthusiasm.

    I weigh myself daily but I only "count" my weigh in once a week. I weighed myself for sparkpeople for the first time on Wednesday- so only my weigh in tomorrow will be official.

Still, it helps to take a peek at the scale now and then!

    If weighing every day makes you feel good then you should do it! I weigh every day and even those .2 losses make me excited. emoticon
