I'm off to a good start and down about 2 pounds. I've established a new workout program, joined my local recreation center, and being much more mindful about what I'm putting in my body.
Green smoothies are the norm for breakfast and my hive outbreaks seem to have diminished somewhat. It's kind of entertaining grossing out my co-workers and watching the looks on their faces as they watch me drink my green goo.
I'm working through DOMS. I'm simply not being used to the intensity of the workouts I'm doing. This will subside in time and with conditioning. I'm using BFL workout sheets but I'm not following the meal plan. Instead I'm counting calories and I'm trying to eat more fruits and veggies.
As I continue running, I'm working on conquering shin splints. More stretching is key. As my legs get conditioned they should go away.
